Welcome to Azalea Park United Methodist Church
About Us PDF Print E-mail

Welcome to the Azalea Park United Methodist Church website.

I want to extend to you and your family, an invitation to come and gather us in worship and all our activities.

We are a great multicultural congregation close to the heart of the beautiful City of Orlando. We are a small Christian congregation with a great and open heart, committed to serving you and our community. We are human beings restored by God’s grace, and seeking God’s Kingdom and its righteousness. We are not perfect, but want to be better persons with God’s help.

We are committed to worship and to be transformed by God, through the action of the Holy Spirit, thus with our spiritual gifts and ministries, we might transform our neighborhood in God’s Kingdom.

Our sanctuary and facilities is an Oasis of Peace and we want you to be part of us and to join us in every dimension of church life and ministry; belonging, sharing, nurturing, and serving God and our neighbors.

Feel free to browse through the various ministries listed and if at any time you want more information, give us a call or email us from our contact list.

Pastor Jose A. Carrion-Aquino

Pastor Jose Carrion

I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico from Antonio and Reina. I am the oldest son of three children in my family. My siblings names are Sandra and Javier, and I have four nieces from them. Since my early childhood, I have realized that everything that I have experienced in my life has great meaning for me in what I understand is my call for ministry, the purpose and mission that God has for me in His creation. I do understand that everything, “works together for good to those who love God”, (Rom 8:28)
